Steven A. Levy, a principal in the firm, focuses on
civil litigation, family matters, personal injury cases,
worker’s
compensation claims and medical malpractice actions.
Mr. Levy graduated from Yale University in 1974 and
received his law degree from New York University School
of Law in 1977.
He is admitted to practice before all State courts,
the Federal District Court for the District of Connecticut,
the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit
and the United States Supreme Court.
Having tried numerous jury and courtside cases, Mr.
Levy is experienced on the civil side of
both the State and Federal Courts. He recently represented
the Town of Fairfield before the United States Second
Circuit Court of Appeals and successfully defended their
health education policies. He serves as a Special Master
for the Bridgeport Superior Court Family Division and
is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association,
the Bridgeport Bar Association Family Law Section and
the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Levy is also an active member of the Fairfield community.
A former coach for Fairfield Youth Soccer, he is also a
graduate of Leadership Greater Bridgeport and a former
board member of Haiti Lumiere de Demain. He is also a member
of the Temple Israel Social Action Committee. He is a core
volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and regularly organizes
and supervises weekend construction projects. |
